Relationship Therapy

I work with couples and families who are facing the following challenges:

  • Cross-cultural issues - I love working with interracial and cross-cultural couples and exploring how differences in cultural and social identities impact, enrich, and challenge growth in partnerships.

  • Differences in values or beliefs - A lasting, healthy relationship must have the capacity to hold and tend to the needs of each person.

  • Communication - How do you have challenging conversations? Are you able to express your needs and boundaries? How do you know when you are truly heard and understood by your partner(s)?

  • Dissatisfaction with intimacy - Fulfilling connection can look and feel different for each person. Together, we will explore how to meet each persons’ needs and desires for emotional, physical, and sexual intimacy.

  • Navigating a shared life together - How do you navigate difficult life decisions together or co-exist in a mutually-fulfilling way? This can be a space to explore questions like whether to have children, how to co-parent, if you want to explore non-monogamy, whether to stay together or separate, etc.

  • Non-monogamy - Are you exploring non-traditional relationships or currently navigating one? Working with ruptures, communication, jealousy, different and changing needs, boundaries, and expectations can be challenging. I offer a dedicated space to address these complexities with care.

  • Neurodiverse relationships - In mixed neurotype relationships (where one partner is neurotypical while the other is autistic, has ADHD, or is AuDHD), communication issues can occur due to differences in processing styles. We will address common challenges regarding emotional reciprocity, mismatch of sensory and lifestyle needs, and different expressions of love.

Together, we can explore the changing landscapes of your relationship and cultivate more spaciousness, intimacy, and trust.
